Description
A pair of oval wall plaques featuring hand-carved shell cameos depicting classical female profiles in right and left orientations. Each cameo is set within a twisted rope-style border on a ribbed gold-tone fabric ground. The 4×3″ oval frames feature an ornate openwork filigree gallery edge and a velvet-flocked backing with hanging rings. Minor surface wear and dust consistent with age. R.H.4.S3
