Description
A ceramic flower frog in the form of a stylized fish, designed by Clarice Cliff for Royal Staffordshire Dinnerware. This piece features the ‘Charlotte’ pattern, a brown transferware floral motif on a cream-colored earthenware body. It includes multip le circular apertures for holding flower stems and a flared, open tail section. Marked on the underside with the pattern name, manufacturer, and designer’s signature. Measures 3″h. Shows some minor surface staining and crazing consistent with age. R.H.4.S3
