Description
A hand-painted porcelain nut bowl or candy dish by Nippon. The piece features a vibrant red and orange poppy motif with green foliage, accented by raised gold moriage beading and gilded handles. The interior and exterior are decorated with floral spr ays. Marked on the underside with the green ‘M’ in wreath mark. Measures 6 3/4″ in diameter excluding handles. Minor wear to gilding consistent with age. R.H.5.S3
