Vintage O-gauge lithographed tinplate train set by Louis Marx & Co. The set features a black streamlined steam locomotive marked “Mercury” and four copper-colored passenger cars labeled “New York Central,” including a “Detroit” coach and a “Me observation car. Includes a Model No. 709 transformer and an assortment of three-rail track sections with a 90-degree crossover. Items show moderate play wear, including surface scratches and minor oxidation. Transformer wiring appears aged and shoul d be inspected. R.I.3.S2
