Rare 1975 first edition soft cover book featuring the work of artist Gene Davis, edited by Donald Wall. Published by Praeger Publishers, New York. The cover depicts ‘Franklin’s Footpath, 1972,’ a 414-foot painting executed in front of the Philadelphi a Museum of Art. Includes interviews by Walter Hopps, Barbara Rose, and Donald Wall. Shows wear to covers with scuffs and light creasing. Interior pages show some yellowing and discoloration, particularly along the spine. Bears a ‘JAMES R. JOHNSTON’ stamp on the copyright page.
