One volume edition of ‘The Works of A. Conan Doyle’ published by Walter J. Black Inc., New York. Circa late 1920s. Features a distinctive brown leather-bound cover with an alligator skin pattern and gilt lettering. The spine is decorated with gilt fl oral motifs. Contents include ‘A Scandal in Bohemia’, ‘The Sign of the Four’, and ‘The White Company’. Condition shows significant wear to the spine and edges, with some loss of leather and fraying.
