Description
A matched pair of Murano Style green art glass ‘Jack in the Pulpit’ vases. Each vase features a trumpet-form mouth with an undulating rim, a tall sinuous stem with distinct vertical ribbing or fluting, and a lobed, multi-footed base. The glass exhibits an ombré effect, transitioning from a pale translucent green at the rim to a deep, opaque forest green or black at the base, with lighter green swirls evident throughout the body. The organic forms suggest an Art Nouveau or similar naturalistic aesthetic. Taller vase measures 15 3/8 x 4.5 inches; shorter vase measures 15 1/8 x 4 1/8 inches.
