Description
A Goofus Glass bowl, of scalloped, pressed glass construction. The decorative bowl features a robustly molded floral design dominated by roses and foliage. The vibrant decoration, appearing to be reverse-painted or enamelled onto the clear glass underside, utilizes a palette of red, gold, and black, indicative of an Art Nouveau or early 20th-century aesthetic. The pattern includes a central rose medallion encircled by a radiating arrangement of additional roses, leaves, and lattice elements. . measures 9 1/4 inches in diameter. Visible wear and some scratching on the underside.
