Description
A framed print after John James Audubon’s ‘Blue Jay’ (Corvus Cristatus), Plate CIII, depicting three Blue Jays on a branch with flowering plants, presented in a natural history illustration style. The print is matted and housed under glass in a dark wood-toned frame featuring a molded decorative edge. Visible text on the print includes “NO. 21.” and “PLATE CIII.” at the top, and at the bottom, “Blue Jay / CORVUS CRISTATUS. / Male 1. Female 2. 3.” alongside an attribution to “Drawn from nature by J.J. Audubon F.R.S. F.L.S.” and “Engraved, printed & colored by R.
