Description
This collection features six vintage or antique-style table lamps and one detached fabric lampshade, varied in form and material. The lamps include a dark-toned turned wood or metal column lamp; a classical urn-form lamp base in white marble or alabaster with fluted carving, consistent with Neoclassical style; two small accent lamps, one with a faceted white ceramic or milk glass body and another with a clear ribbed glass body; another clear ribbed glass lamp base paired with a small, detached off-white fabric shade; and a brass-toned metal banker’s or piano lamp with an articulated arm and a textured, possibly perforated, base. Materials observed include wood, marble/alabaster, ceramic/milk glass, clear glass, and various metals exhibiting patination. Most lamps feature visible, coiled electrical cords, some appearing fabric-wrapped, indicating older wiring.
