Description
A Bombay Company Octagon Mirror, featuring a wide frame with a distressed gold gilt finish applied over a white or possibly red base. The frame is adorned with molded or carved foliate and scrollwork motifs, consistent with a decorative revival style. The inner octagonal bezel is detailed with a repeating beaded pattern. The reverse of the mirror shows a cardboard backing board with an attached sawtooth hanger and is stamped “Hecho en México,” accompanied by a small white sticker bearing the number “009.”
Approximately 12 inches (30.5 cm) in diameter.
