Original 1944 War Department graphic training aid poster titled ‘NEVER GIVE A GERM A BREAK!’ produced by the U.S. Government Printing Office (1944, No. 619220). The poster features a strong health and hygiene message with imagery of handwashing symbolizing sanitization and health. Marked ‘Approved War Department Graphic Training Aid 8-8’ and dated 12 October 1944. Measures approximately 20 x 28 inches, composed of paper, with original wartime distribution details printed along the bottom. Presents visible wear and creases, consistent with its age, indicating use or handling. Includes original backing board inside clear protective wrap. Authenticated piece of historical World War II-era educational material.
